Even though Pieper Electric has been performing design/build and design/assist type projects since its inception more than 75 years ago, projects of this type are still relatively new in many markets. Because of the complexity of the systems involved, these are not projects that just anyone can do.

We have a team of BIM modelers that have over 30 years combined work experience with BIM and design related projects. This experience has yielded a team that is fully capable of predicting the resources needed and executing a project of the expected magnitude.
BIM effectiveness is achieved when the planning put into the model saves time in the field installing the system. Pieper utilizes BIM on many projects for prefabrication purposes due to proven time/cost savings from past successfully executed projects.

During the design stage, the prefabrication shop is at the forefront when working with the design team in building the layout of the electrical distribution and branch systems. Circuit layout, conduit/cable tray routing, equipment/device/fixture layout can be optimized for prefabrication during the design stage to allow the most effective prefabrication processes to be utilized.
We have developed our own standards for prefabrication and installation drawings for smooth transfer of information from the software to real life installation. We have best practices in place and are constantly evolving our prefabrication abilities by staying current with the most cutting-edge technologies being utilized in the industry.
