MACHINE DESIGN EXCELLENCE

Pieper Automation specializes in custom automation solutions, systems and industrial machine design services for industrial equipment for manufacturing, inspection, and assembly. We have an accomplished team with years of experience in implementing one-off custom solutions in industries as far ranging as Automotive, Material Handling, Food & Beverage to Medical Instruments, and many others. We possess the ability to design industrial machinery and systems with a range of operation types, including automatic, synchronous, continuous, and modular, many which incorporate different types of Robotic applications as well as turnkey solutions. We offer full services for your machine, both in-house and at your site for installation and startup, including; electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, controls programming, and on-site training expertise, as your Total Automation Solutions Provider, we save you time and money.

Our team specializes in approaching your problem with a blank sheet of paper and creating a fully custom design tailored to your specific application.

Pieper Automation focuses on mechanical designs to create the most useful, efficient machine possible. Whether, you need custom machine design engineering, rapid prototyping, or solid modeling, our engineering design team uses the latest technology CAD design software, SolidWorks 3-D Computer Aid Design (CAD). We utilize all the latest tools at our disposal, including; Finite Element Analysis (FEA), linear, non-linear static and dynamic analysis and virtual simulation. All, which to analyze detailed designs and make quick modifications as needed throughout the product design process. Using our 3-D printer we can create an exact model for quick proof of concept and proto-typing, thus reducing time and eliminating unnecessary costs associated with multiple design iterations and physical mock-ups.

Pieper Automation is constantly improving our capabilities to match the demands of our industry, which is ever changing. With our Total Solutions Capabilities, Pieper Automation is ready to design, build and provide machines that comply with modern Industry connectivity design goals and trends, including remote monitoring; cloud-based data capture, and even centralized factory control systems.

ROBOTIC WORK CELLS

Robotics is a mainstay of modern automation. Many applications require the flexibility and speed that only modern robotic actuators can provide. Regardless of your industry, whether Foundry, Plating, Medical or Fabricated Metals, Pieper Automation has experience integrating robotics into both small work cells and large-scale production lines.

If a robot is a good fit for your application, We Always Find a Way.

INDIVIDUAL WORK CELLS, COMPLETE ASSEMBLY LINES, RETROFITTING

Many applications are realized with a stand-alone work cell. Our stand-alone work cells are generally designed to run with little to no operator supervision with focus on having an operator only required to load and unload parts at regular intervals, intervals are dependent entirely on your goals and needs. Typically, such machines will be a self-contained unit, requiring only power and air at the end-user facility. Unless requirements dictate differently, Pieper Automation will assemble, test and perform and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for each machine at our facility in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and then ship the complete system to your end customer's facility for final installation. Pieper Automation also offers services to provide a full-turnkey solution, which we would follow your machine to site and provide complete installation services, including any electrical, air, hydraulic installation needed. Some applications require a complete handling and production system, from raw material to a finished or staged material/product. In these situations, a complete assembly or handling line is the best solution. Pieper Automation Custom design team will work with you from start to finish, ensuring your line is perfectly suited to your production requirements.

If you have equipment that is near end of life or worn out, Pieper Automation can help in bringing it up to today’s era and technology with new automation controls and/or repair or replacement of worn components. A machine rebuild/retrofit is a great time to add new capabilities, whether simply increasing throughput or implementing new ancillary product handling capabilities, utilizing remote support/troubleshooting capabilities, data logging/reporting or upgrading with the latest in vision and inspection technologies, Pieper Automation has the skilled team to service all your needs today and for tomorrow. With Pieper Automation’s CMSE® Certified Machine Safety Team we can work with you to ensure your machine meets industry standards, keeping your operators safe.

MACHINE SAFETY

Safety is priority #1 in all Pieper Automation designs, inclusion and implementation of safety guarding and equipment are considered from the very first steps of the project. Our aim is to design a machine/cell with a safety system that reduces or eliminates the danger points through detailed planning of safeguards and technologies. Pieper Automation’s capabilities include having in-house certified CMSE® Safety engineers who are certified to conduct machine audits and mitigation services. Our Safety team will work with our machine design team throughout the design life-cycle to ensure OSHA, ANSI, ISO, IEC, RIA, CE, UL and similar standards compliance are met, ensuring regulatory conformity, and the safety of operators.
